Bug wrong text in slide caption

For some reason, some of the slides have the wrong caption. I'm not sure where the content is from that they are pulling.

Although I am not 100% sure, it appears the slides that do not have a picture (using the default slide) are pulling the wrong content.

(Note the link I provided in the fields is my test site as I am working on upgrading to vb4.)

Is the content from the CMS, or the forum?

Can you provide screenshots of the vBSlider display and the thread display?

Very strange...the files didn't show up in the attachment dialog box after the upload but there they are in the post.

Maybe something is screwed up with my vb4 test forum. I used impex to import an old backup copy of the forum. My attachments weren't imported as part of the impex. But it still seems odd to me that the slides wouldn't match the right text.

Why would you use impex instead of running a normal upgrade?

This site was a new test site. Once I get the style finalized and figure out what mods I want to roll with, I will perform a normal upgrade on the real site. I guess in retrospect I could have upgraded the copy of the database rather than impex it. Although I want to be sure not to screw up my attachments...truthfully I need to do more research before performing the upgrade to be sure I have all the bases covered.

Do you think that is why the slides are linking to the wrong threads?

It's not unlikely that the import script has somehow tied the wrong posts to threads.

You can use the method described in the answer on this question to duplicate your existing vB3 database and perform a normal upgrade afterwards: Duplicate Entire MySQL Database - Stack Overflow

I agree that reason this problem was caused by impex. I didn't perform the test upgrade yet (as you mentioned in the post above), but plan to do that before moving forward with the real upgrade so that when I do the upgrade for real, I will hopefully minimize problems.
