Bug High Score v2 Games.

Not sure what happened here,but thought it better to report it.Had alot of reports of games reverse scoring after the update to 1.3.0.See images below..

First image is on the test board and adding the games..Both v2 and v32 show High Score




Second image is on Live site after update and the games are existing..All v2 games have changed to Low Score but the v32's have remained High Score.




Is there anything I can run to change all games to High Score as I have quite a few v2 games on that were never converted to v32.

So on your test board, upgrading to 1.3 did NOT affect your v2 games?
vBArcade actually treats v2 and v32 games identically, so not sure how it could have changed.

Edit the game, and check if they did indeed change to low score. I did change the DISPLAY slightly which might be off.

My fault,I've collected alot of games over the years and separated them into non-scorers,v2 and v32..I must have uploaded the non scorers..

First image is the non-scorer (well what I thought were non-scorers) the ones I have installed and the one next to it is the v2,v32 highscore.



Sorry for my incompetence,but at least I learned something, what I thought were non scoring games because they didn't carry the "highscore_type =>"actually install on local scoring as low scoring which is a bonus

Are there actually ipa games that dont support scoring at all? I was under the impression there were not, and i didnt encounter any during development, so didnt build the ipa importer to detect and handle that.

If youre sure the non-scoring one doesnt support scoring (turn its scoring to high and see if scores get saved), then please attach it as a zip to this thread so i can update everything for it and others like it

I'll get the old software out at the weekend and check the code behind the submit button.Your probably right it must have something there,but I have few standalone arcades and on the older script which is now unsupported the tar mod was created as an addon.I installed what I think is the non scorer on that and it highscores but obviously it sets itself to low scoring on vbarcade..They are the old classics but I reakon I have around 3,500 which is alot of manual work to change them all to highscore should I decide to install them.
Something that might be of interest to you with the tar mod is it auto deletes the .tars when they have been imported..I'll package it all up and take alook at it when you have more time..

No rush, I know you're very busy in more ways than one at the minute..

Okay, so if it actually does scoring but doesnt mark it as such, cant do much for that...

I actually decided not to delete the tars after import, because you might want to review or reimport if something didnt work.
