In setting > Manage buttons
there is a setting entitled "Click Limitation"
The number of clicks per day allowed.
0 = No limit.

I have set this to 10 for one of my buttons. My users are reporting that after they have clicked this button in 10 posts and they try again they see simply some text which says

Could this be changed for something more explanatory in a future version please?

As an aside, I personally would like the option to have the buttons still clickable all day long but a javascript warning pop up after a set amount of clicks informing the user that any future button clicks that day will not raise the recipient's reputation score. Ideally the max. number of button clicks a user could give whilst counting towards the recipient's reputation would depend on the clicker's usergroup.

Fixed :)

You can re-download the product and re-upload
- /dbtech/thanks/clientscript/thanks.js
- /dbtech/thanks/includes/class_core.php

And it will correctly display an error message for errors received when clicking buttons :)

Now my users get a javascript alert with the text
[Object XML Document]

I have now experienced this error myself too.

On edit: I think the new files cause this error even when the max. button clicks per day have not been reached! So this modification is essentially broken now with the way the files on this site are currently. I will have to re-upload the previous files.
