I installed this mod did all the setting as in button setup, forums and groups that should see it. However I could not get it to show the bar as it should at the bottom of the thread. I also noticed that when first installed I could expand and collapse the postbits for this but later I could not even do this. So I am not sure if I did something while trying to get it to work that changed this setting. I am also not sure if I need to have the other mod installed before I install this one "[AJAX] Post Thank You Hack"

Tried on both my custom skin and default skin same thing

You don't need to have the Post Thank You Hack installed first, no. We optionally provide an importer for those who'd like to switch from that mod to ours :)

Have you installed or updated any mods since the collapse bits stopped working?

As for the button bar, have you set up the permissions in the Manage Buttons interface under the DBTech - Post Thanks AdminCP menu group? If you cannot see this group, add your userid to the superadministrators variable in config.php :)

The collapse story happened while I was still playing with settings after the install, it worked on default and then after playing it was not working. I setup the forum areas to allow in the settings of this mod. I then setup the usergroups to allow in the mod settings as well but nothing.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

Ok here is the thing. I download this mod from the org and installed it and when it did not work I uninstalled it but left all the files I FTP onto my site for the time being. So now after I posted here I thought let me install it again and see exactly what settings I was playing with. So I found that I have installed it from my office PC and the mod was on that PC. So I downloaded it again but from here and just imported the file into my mod CP and it now seems to work. I see the bar and I have just set it up for the mods to look at in there area and it works like that. Thanks for the fast response on this. I may have a few more question later when setting up some of the stuff.

Glad you got it solved :D

Technology is amazing isn't it, exact same scenario but it works on the second try =p Computers really don't make sense sometimes...

Yeah PC are strange things at times :D Oh and I also posted this help topic on the org before I realized I could post it here so you guys can ignore that one :p

Yea sorry about not getting to it, I often end up putting off vb.org support when I'm doing something, then a flood of emails in my inbox pushes it off my screen D:
