Bug Problems (Import Utility and Path To Downloads)

I bought vBDownloads yesterday and I've installed it but I have problems:

1/ Import Utility -
Warning: set_time_limit() [function.set-time-limit]: Cannot set time limit in safe mode in [path]/dbtech/downloads/core/class_import.php on line 10

2/ Manage settings (Path To Downloads) - where do I find a file? where is my Path?

Is that a shared hosting account you are using? Most places don't rely on safe mode and use better security. It might interfere with some scripts.

You can comment out the line if you want for the time limit.

For the path to downloads, you want to set it to the folder path where you want to keep the download files. So say you have your forums at
/home/mysite/public_html/forums
And you want to keep the download files in
/home/mysite/downloads

Set that field to
/home/mysite/downloads

If you still have trouble setting the path, you can upload the following file to your forum root and then just go to http://www.YOURSITE.com/checkdir.php

That should show you the path to your forum.
