Question Will there be any problem when I convert SMF into vB with vBCredits already installed

Right now my vB forum has no posts. I plan on transferring SMF data into it with tons of posts and users. Will anything with vBCredits go wrong if I install vBCredits before the transfer?

Doesn't sound like a problem, although you will probably need to run the recalculation to award all those new users.

Good thing I tested a few users before. Some people registered on the original forum years ago. When they logged into the new vB forum, they got 2 paychecks for each day they have been registered. So they got like 30,000 credits.

I disabled it.

Is there a way to make paycheck only start when it was enabled?

Well, you could definitely reduce the frequency, but it tries to backpay users from the last time they logged in :-/ I'll try to think of a way to make it stop doing that in the future.
