what about [hide] function?

i think..this is a function we all want to use (who want a thanks mod)

this mod, actually has the option to show content of the post...if user thanks or like..

but what about hide certain parts of the post?

it is useful for example, when you want to show a description of a free software, and then post a url (and hide it using [hide] [/hide])...
other example, is when you want to hide a group of links, (or links written as code, to be more easy to copy).

i think a [hide] bbcode, is necessary for this mod.

Also, admin user should can control when the hide part of the post will be unhide (if user thanks, or if user likes the post).

There's no button, you manually insert the hide tags.

If you click Go Advanced on this forum, you'll see the "require x to see content" which is what controls the hide tags.

So if i add the [*HIDE] [/HIDE] i must also press the Require X to see content ? Double job :/
And what about the old posts ? how stay hidden without edit one by one to give them the Require X to see content ?

It is sadly impossible to automate this process, due to the fact that there's an option to require any combination of buttons (Thanks, Like and Dislike are buttons) to see content via HIDE tags.

Hi, I disabled Like/Dislike and I am only using "Thank", is there a way to remove the second process of clicking the button altogether and automatically recognize the [*HIDE][/HIDE] tags for "Thanks"?

No, because the functionality still exists for there to be multiple buttons. The text you quoted still applies I'm afraid.
