No, im guessing this is because my licence ran out.
I never really used the product and now wish to use it's other features beyond activity.
Finding that the criteria has to be set by myself and that their are no images/icons is a bit of a joke.
I feel like you left the main parts of the product out, what good is trophy's with no images... what good is achievements when all criteria is blank and there are no images.

So how do i get this stuff.
Because it should have been included in my version.
Also, on a fresh install, i see no achievement criteria. Nadda.
I have to set everything, achievement, field, type, comparison etc.
Surely im not expected to dream this stuff up. That's why i bought a product.

It's currently only available for the latest version (2.1.9 and future versions).
It's true, on a fresh install there's nothing set up. However, in your XML folder of the downloaded product, there's a "vbactivity-export.xml" which you can use in the Import / Export feature of vBActivity to add some default achievements and criteria. This is also explained in the readme.txt file.
The achievements and criteria defined in there are extensive, but still just a small taste of what the product can do. If you want any other achievements beyond those then unfortunately you do have to dream them up yourself, as it's sadly impossible for us to include every permutation of every possible criteria and achievement

Right, so i own 3 DBT products and did plan on buying 2 more today.

When our customers tell us there are things they are looking for/want then we add them as soon as we can.
It's not feasible to go back and update all the old versions of our products with new features or contents - not to mention there would be no reason for anyone to every purchase updates if we did.
Sorry to have disappointed you in this - there really is nothing more we can do than listen to peoples requests and get them added in future versions though.
In this instance the original images had to be removed due to circumstances beyond our control, and we paid to have new images created, which we then added at the first possible juncture. We did not advertise or claim the product came with images during the time it did not. As soon as we could we had new images added.
If you feel that's unreasonable then I completely understand you taking your business elsewhere, and wish you the best in finding somewhere more suitable.

Not allowing paid customers who purchased during the window when images were not included to have these images for free is beyond me.
Its got nothing to do with a product evolving and having updates, this is not a case of buying vb1 and expecting vb4 for free.
This is about buying a product, that is unusable without images, (that had images from inception) and being one of the unlucky few that bought during a time when you removed the images.
Please do explain how one would use a trophy feature, with NO trophy images, id love to hear that one.
After that, please go ahead and explain how I use an awards feature, with no awards to give out.
As a businessman myself, your behaviour is misplaced. You want me to pay for images that everyone else got for free, from day zero. This is not a new feature, that requires an upgrade.
Best of luck treating long term customers like that, it will come back to haunt you.

I should probably clarify a few things: Firstly, VBAA didn't have images originally, some were added a while into its existence.
Secondly the images in it now are not those which used to be in it - the new pack has many more unique images and none of the images from the original pack.
I feel compelled to make the comment that there are many products and situations which require external items to function at their best - for instance it could be argued that a dvd player is useless without DVDs, or photoshop is useless without images. The idea that because we do not supply trophy images the product is somehow unsellable in that condition is one I would disagree with. Not only are the features still usable with any external image you choose to add, but the many OTHER features of the mod are still completely usable without any images at all.
Nevertheless, them not being available to all customers was something that hadn't really crossed out mind, it wasn't a deliberate decision to get more sales. I think that point got somewhat buried in the negativity of the thread, but I digress. if you want any of the DBtech image packs for trophies and things then feel free to drop me a line as i have all the rights to those images, DBtech have the rights to use them on their site as i gave them permission back when i worked for them, however if you want/need custom made stuff then i'm freelance now so i can take on a project for you if you wish

Mmm...
Generally I try not to comment on the situation too much, but i'll say here that Neo was unable to prove to us that his images were drawn/created from nothing and did not edit already existing material.
That being said we have never received any notification or copyright complaint on the images, and we took the steps we did as a pre-emptive measure so it's up to the individual if you feel comfortable enough using Neo's work.

All of the work i do involves making my own buttons and using some images found on google to fit the needs of the end user who wants them, i will clarify this when/if you wish to buy a custom pack off me, however i've made all of the achievements/trophies and awards you see here on DB-tech (bar maybe a few).
