Bug vbshout 6 upgrade

[Captive Reefs]

Just tried to upgrade vbshout to 6 and it brought the site forum down. The following error is in the error log:

[17-Jan-2012 11:32:56] PHP Fatal error: Class 'VBSHOUT' not found in /home/captiver/public_html/forum/dbtech/vbshout/hooks/process_templates_complete.php on line 17

Any suggestions?

That may happen during the upload, but once the upload is complete that error will go away

It didn't...let me try again here.

Should I disable vbshout during the upgrade? I wasn't able to even get into admincp after the upload.

Upgraded...forum loads. But chatbox in a perpetual state of loading.

Please advise.

Getting this error in error log now:

Please re-upload /upload/dbtech/vbshout/includes/class_core.php as that property is not undeclared.

do I need to redownload it from here? Just reuploaded the one I have and still the same issue.

ok...think I got it working. must have been a customization to one of the templates. I'll have to compare to figure out what the problem was. thanks for your help.
