Bug vBShop has some of the worst bugs...

vBShop still has some big bugs in it, even though it's been around for a while. The items that are bought by the members keep disappearing. This is a huge bug... I mean what's the point of having a shop if the users might not be able to keep the items?

Related to this, a feature request: Allow admins to see hidden items in users' inventory. Would allow me to see when I need to give someone a refund after an item disappears. But this really should be fixed...

Unfortunately this is not an issue anyone else has reported, and without a clear way of reproducing the issue it's sadly not posstble for me to fix it.

The effects of items may vanish as a result of the Item Duration settings, but no code in vBShop deletes an item sans the Sellback and Discard pages


For the future, could you please use a more descriptive thread title? A thread title like this doesn't tell us anything of the issue, and only serves to infuriate the coder - not to mention putting the product in a very negative light - a light that, looking though the Open Issues list, it does not deserve

Lol, my bad.


But yeah, users sometimes report that their items have disappeared. And I check the logs and it says they purchased them.

Another frustrating bug I mentioned before is that the inbox increase doesn't work. If a user buys an item to hold more PMs in their inbox, it will say the amount is extended, but it doesn't actually extend it.

I'll look into the PM issue when I'm next doing bugfixes for vBShop
