Hi. I've updated my forum from 4.2.3 to 4.2.5. I'm on version 3.3.2 Pro of the plugin. Pressing the Like button doesn't seem to do much, although if you hammer it, it still says "wait 3 seconds between likes" so it's at least partially working. The only other thing I changed was php5.6 to php7.1, although I changed it back to 5.6 for a bit to see, but no joy. Any recommendations please?

We can only provide support for the latest version of the Thanks mod, and the latest version is v3.6.3.

Could you please upgrade and try again?

Ok, sorry about that. All working fine in the latest version. I had looked for the download previously but it wasn't obvious (to me) where to look. Eventually figured out account in store is different from forum account.

Keep up the good work. Does this exist for vb5 or does vb5 have likes built in?

The vB5 version cannot be upgraded from the vB4 version, and has fewer features due to the fact that it's not financially viable to develop for vB5. It is not recommended to run any 3rd party customisations on vB5, as no 3rd party developer currently supports vB5.
