Scenario

1 - created a new sub forum
2- added a moderator
3- went to homepage to click , URL incorrect (not rewritten)

Incorrect URL: forumdisplay.php?f=844
correct URL: /f844/

me scratches head.

Thanks.

FIX:

Enable then disable persistant SEO urls (must rewrite something). I don't have them enabled as i have 6m URLS and unsure on how it would effect performance.

The fix would be to clear the system cache - this happens when you save any DBSEO settings or when you click the dedicated menu item.

Alternatively, it would have sprung to life within 1 hour (the TTL of the cache). This only happens if you have Datastore caching enabled in config.php and it's set to something other than Filecache.
