Question Problem with points/dates

Hi im having an issue when checking points, seems a lot of point are being counted as being scored in Jan 1970, the users are current users so its very possible these posts are not counting to monthly totals, which poses a problem as im running a competition and now my users are concerned they have wasted their time and their points have not been counted properly.

That's because it's impossible to determine the actual dates for some actions, like confirming friends and such. vBulletin does not store the required information.

So long as you don't frequently (or at all) use the Recalculate Points feature, this is not an issue

So are these points recored in 1970 being counted properly? Like towards this months total?

No, but any future points gained from those actions will be counted correctly.

It is impossible to correctly count points gained before the mod was installed, or points gained before you ran the Recalculate Points script.
