Bug private chats not displaying as private / shout target not updating

After clicking private on member drop down and opening up a new tab to have a private conversation when I went back to the regular chat room tab, I realized that all of the conversation was visible to everyone despite showing up in a private tab.

So I disabled private chatting for my chat instance temporarily till this is fixed. Now I am getting invalid instance when I enter any chat.

I am unable to confirm this. There is an issue where the Shout Target and the shout itself does not display like a PM, but the shouts are indeed private and not visible to the others.

Please start a new issue with any "invalid instance" errors providing as much information as possible

I believe I have located a Chrome-specific issue that would have resulted in the Invalid Instance message. The fix will be in the next version.

I am still working on the main issue in this thread.

Just you confirm what I am talking about with private chats? I confirmed it on dbtech's chatbox earlier.

Like I said: Shouts are still private, it is merely a display error preventing them from having the "PM To" prefix and such.

I'll have to triple check on my board ...but the first two looks showed others could see them.

The display issues have been fixed for the next version

I expect it to be out tomorrow (18th), unless more issues arise overnight
