Bug first word mentions not working

Hi, I have discovered a problem with the mentions, I'm not sure but I think this might have started after I upgraded to 2.0.5. a few weeks ago.

If someone mentions someone in the beginning of a post (the first word of the post is the mention) then the notification does not work, like this:
viper357 how are you

But if it is like this:

How are you viper357
then the notification will work fine.

I have been unable to replicate this issue on any test board I have access to.

However, in the next version I will be making some changes to the code that handles these things, so we'll wait and see if it gets resolved by that

Ok, must be another plugin that's affecting it maybe? There is another guy on the vb.org thread that is having the same issue. But I'll wait for the next version and see if that solves it, thanks.

It could be, could you try disabling all other plugins and see if that helps?

I disabled all other plugins, then uninstalled user tagging mod, re-installed the mod, and it is still doing the same thing.

The user tagging was working fine, it may have been when I installed this mod - Recent Thanks for [AJAX] Post Thank You Hack - vBulletin.org Forum which works with notifications, and since then I got complaints about the user tagging not working properly, I've uninstalled that mod but it hasn't helped.

We did some tests on another site as well, and we were unable to replicate it. It happened for us once when we were not testing, but while we were, we couldn't replicate it
