Hi,

after installing vaultwiki, I get the following error when clicking on the wiki-link:

Code:
Invalid SQL:
  UPDATE vb_thread SET
   dbtech_vbanalytics_pageviews = dbtech_vbanalytics_pageviews + 1
   , dbtech_vbanalytics_visits = dbtech_vbanalytics_visits + 1
  WHERE threadid = error;
MySQL-Fehler : Unknown column 'error' in 'where clause'
Fehler-Nr.    : 1054
All other linkd for Vb work. The error disappears as soon as I deactivate the plugin.

Best regards

Ueli

This looks like a problem with vaultwiki. Notice the threadid says "error". I can fix this or find a way to provide compatibility if provided with credentials.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

I apologize. I have not had a chance to look into this yet. I will dedicate this weekend on solving any present issues for all my modifications.

Once again I apologize for the delay. I believe I have patched this compatibility issue on your site. Please verify.

Happy holidays. :)

Unfortunately not. I get now the following error when activating vbanalytics:

Code:
Invalid SQL:
  UPDATE vb_forum SET
   dbtech_vbanalytics_totalviews = dbtech_vbanalytics_totalviews + 1
  WHERE forumid =;
MySQL-Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3
Error-Nr.    : 1064
Happens only when starting wiki.

Ah. That's a different error that you didn't get before because the first error prevented it from occurring.

I have no idea why the Wiki requires thread hooks to be called, but that's why these errors are occurring. I thought these hooks would only be called when someone entered a thread, but it seems third-party add-ons may call them at other times.

I've gone through all the thread related hooks and made changes to them to assure these errors will not happen. Please let me know if this solves your issue.

Happy holidays.

Hi,

after upgrading vbanalytics and vaultwiki I get the same error again. If you could tell what you changed the last time, I can fix it myself.
