(Mochi Import seemed to work ok, will know after fix for missing files issue is available as the "Manage Games" is disabled in this version).

When trying to import bulk files, I copied them to "/dbtech/vbarcade/import", these are all .TAR files.

When I try to import them, I get an error "No additional games for import have been detected".

I also tried doing a single import of a .TAR file by selecting it on my local system, this produced the same error message as above.

Were those tar'd mochi games? As I mentioned, beta #1 only works with mochi games, but ibproarcade and v3 arcade support will be hot on its heels to handle those next.

More than likely, they were not Mochi games so that's the problem. I was just under the impression that Mochi was only supported through the type of importer you have now. But I get it. You can close this ticket. =)

What you should do though - is visit mochigames and download a bunch of the zips from there :D throw them in the same directory, and test bulk handling with those!

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to download their games... the only way I've downloaded them before was through v3Arcade. Yeah, I'm lame, I know. But yeah. I'm still looking though!

http://www.mochimedia.com/games

click one of the games, and theres a Download .ZIP Package button next to embed code button below the game.

obviously, a crappy way to get a bunch of games, but could be used when you cant dial out to the mochi servers for some reason, or dont want to bother with a publisher id (though would definitely mean you cant pick up scores anywhere, but who am i to judge...)

haha, well, I'm just an idiot. My problem was, I went to www.mochigames.com, which is just the portal to play the games only... Been a long time since I messed with this stuff (since my old arcade... sucked and annoyed me). =) Thanks man!
