I had a Coder Make me a custom page and he can make vbshout work on it

"is not working even after we tried with replacing our template code with the hole "forumdisplayhome"
the CSS is included OK but the code itself no"

how do we fix this problem?

Maybe this will help:

To put vBShout in a custom location, do the following:

Step 1: AdminCP -> DBTech - vBShout-> Instance Management -> [Edit].

Step 2: Change the Auto-Display Shoutbox setting to Disabled.

Step 3: Write down the the Varname setting. For the default shoutbox, it's instance1. The rest of this guide will assume you replace instance1 with the actual Varname if it is different.

Step 4: Enter the Style Manager and add either {vb:raw show.vbshout_instance1} (vB4) or {$show[vbshout_instance1]} (vB3) to the templates you wish the shoutbox to appear in.

Follow these steps as described and you will have total control over the position of the Shoutbox.
Please note that some locations may not work as intended on vBulletin 3.8, and also note that it is not designed to go in the Forum Blocks side-bar (vBulletin 4).

Hope that helps :)

Ok then Fillip H. will have to answer you, other that the way I described, I know of no other way.

The above instructions are correct for vBShout v5.4.0 and above, please ensure you're running that version before following the instructions.

If they don't work, then there's sadly nothing we can do :(

i have 5.4.8 on my site i dont know why this is not working on my custom page what hooks/variables has to be on a template in order to have vbshout shows

The $show array needs to be available and registered to the custom page to have the shoutbox working.

$show is a 3.8 vars
but we have a 4.1 forum

$show is a variable that works on every vBulletin version.

If that doesn't work then it can't be done, sorry :(
