Bug Not able to do settings

Hello,

just installed the Addon and wanted to look at the settings but all I get is white pages and this error:

PHP Fatal error: Class 'vB_Api' not found in /***/***/***/forum/core/admincp/thanks.php on line 23, referer: http://www.***.***/forum/core/adminc...=******&do=nav

Domain and paths censored for public.

Is your forum turned off? I can't replicate this issue but I know there's multiple issues with forums turned off and addons.

RE Installed the mod, still nothing but the mentioned error.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Which settings are you having problems with? I just tried to test save a button and the vBOptions using the Settings link under DBTech - Post Thanks, and it worked fine for me.

I asked you what exactly you clicked on in order to receive that error because I'm unable to replicate it on your site, and I don't think you would be any happier if I said "I can't reproduce this *closed thread*"

You're saying you receive the error on every link under DBTech - Post Thanks?

Can you try logging on to the user you gave me and see if you also receive those errors with that account?

The problem is that you're accessing the AdminCP from the wrong URL.

You need to drop the "core" from the URL, so:

http://www.domain.com/forum/core/admincp/thanks.php?do=button = WRONG
http://www.domain.com/forum/admincp/thanks.php?do=button = CORRECT

It's not me doing the URLs... It's being set by VBulletin and not by me. I got redirected from the install to there and thus went there and not to any other url.

Yes connecting to the AdminCP via URL without /core/ works...

They REALLY need to work on it -.-

When you click the "Admin" link in the forum it does not send you to the version containing /core/ - I haven't installed vB5 in a while so I don't know what they redirect you to from there.

I can not activate the "Thanks" Button.
Every other option seems to save.

Also how can I use the hide function ?

Sorted, vB has updated the way their datamanager works making it incompatible with the database structure in APTL for vB5.

It's a mod problem, it'll be permanently fixed in a future version of the vB5 version, but it already is permanently fixed on your site (assuming you don't uninstall and reinstall the mod).

Ref. the hide feature, this is from the description of the vB5 version:

Missing Feature List: Lite​

Require a Button Click: Allows you to hide the content of a post, or hie an attachment, until the person clicks a button on the post.
