Question Live wall is making my site so slow...

As you can see the start render time goes up by at least 4 seconds!
Any way for you guys to get this plugin optimized?
This is somewhat killing me.

The discrepancy for us could be attributed to the extra time it takes to query the various content types for the forum sidebar. Have you tried turning that off?

Hi Fillip H., I went ahead and tried that but it wasn't much of an improvement, I'd say 1 - 1.5 improvement.
I disabled everything except your plugin.
It did certainly improve things, but it's still slow.

I've just confirmed that leaving LW enabled but disabling the sidebar makes the forum.php load exactly as fast as with the entire mod disabled

That's good news, but the sidebar was a huge selling point for me.
I don't really like to have the mod on top navbar but rather the side bar on forums home.

Update: In the upcoming v1.2 I have implemented a MySQL query trick that reduced query time by ~90% for the slower parts of LiveWall's operation (Posts and Threads mostly). Queries are down from 0.02 seconds to 0.002 seconds (here on DBTech with our post count, YMMV).

Re-running WebPageTests showed an elimination of the 2 second buffer that was proven in the previous tests

I am currently happy with 2 seconds improvements.
It makes a huge difference.
