Question XCache Var Cache Size?

Hi - just wondering what size the XCache var cache should be set to. I get about 10,000 unique hits a day and about 100,000 page views.

I currently have the guest full page caching set to 5 mins, but the cache is fulling right up. It is currently set at 128MB. Server has 4GB Ram (dedicated).

If it's filled to the brim then I suggest you bump the cache size by a factor of 2 until you no longer see it maxed out, and have some room for growth (let's say 75% full).

Unless you are running something other than normal web server processes on it, I doubt your normal RAM usage is high enough so that attempting this will cause any memory issues

Ok - I've doubled it to 256 and halved the global cache to half an hour. The main worry is that it is nowhere near our peak time.
