Supressing (hiding) message when sent private shout

Is there a way to hide system's messsage when someone send out a personal/private shout?

The message is only seen between the two members, without it they'd never know they sent/received a message. No one else can see these notices, however staff can currently within Archive - that is being changed in a future version however

It's not the content of the message itself. On my site EVERYONE can see the notice of message being sent. This is a privacy concern for us.

Just disable the plugin that's listed in another thread.
I don't see how what you're saying can be true, because it's sent as a shoutbox PM between the two members and nobody else can see those...

Then there's a bug: Everyone can see the notification between 2 users (granted the content is private).

It's not happening anywhere else, though.
