I stumbled across your product from the vbgarage forum. One of the guys on my team asked if there was a way that they could mass mail from the front end and when i saw your product i thought that would be what we need.

1. How granular are the permissions ?

2. Integration with GMail as this is who hosts our mail on googleapps.

3. I have a forced user profile section on sign up that makes them select from a list their location. in the search for users on the forum, it is possible for example to find, all users from America lets say, can you do the same with this, select all users from that profile field and send mail to them?

4. where is the branding and what is seen ?

5. finally, what is the cost for the full package, lifetime, unbranded and professional install.

1. That depends on what it is you need

2. vBMail uses the vBulletin default email queue, so it's no different from the rest of vB when it comes to sending email.

3. That's not possible no, sorry.

4. There's a copyright footer on the vBMail page and in the footer of the emails.

5. £100.80 after the automatic 12.5% discount that will be applied, ex. VAT

thanks for the super fast reply, point 3 is a show stopper for me unfortunately.

I need my Events team to be able to mass mail to the people with a selected location in their profile. i have one events member in 6 different locations. multiple members in each location and they want to email them.

if it is searchable in vbulletin would it not be possible in the future to add that capability. its the only thing that stops me from progressing as thats the whole reason they want it.

Please post a feature request thread with a descriptive title in the Lite support forum for vBMail so that it can be taken into consideration for future versions

That being said, it's a significant departure from how vBMail is designed, so I'm not sure if it will be possible to meld with the traditional "you subscribe, you get the email" straightforward functionality of a mailing list software.
