Question HIDE not working

Biggest waste of money. Im not using the software, I dont see how I cant receive a refund.

It's the nature of digital products. It's the same reason you can't purchase a game on steam and then ask for a refund for instance.

Once you have downloaded the mod you now have a copy of the code to do what you will with, we do everything we can to make our refund policy as clear as possible (including requiring people to tick a box saying they have read and agree to it and the other terms and conditions when they make a purchase). We also offer refunds in any case where the lite mod worked fine but pro did not - since in that instance the customer could have had no way of knowing in advance there would be a problem.

Well, is there a way It automatically hides ALL links using Hide tags?

I think its pointless to have to use a checkbox for every thread. And I have thousands of old threads which need the links hidden.

Well I noticed it doesnt hide links that were hidden before this mod was installed.

The problem, as Ozzy points out, is that there's a theoretical infinite amount of possible buttons to click to unhide content.

I have no way of knowing what button people want to use. I have no way of knowing whether the "Thanks" button still exists, and if so, if they haven't recreated it with a different ID.

This mod is not a dedicated HIDE hack, the functionality was only added due to popular demand. I don't believe we ever advertised it as such either. If you need a mod that effortlessly hides content and has 1 button to unhide it, there's plenty of mods that do that, and probably does it better than this mod.

Like I've stated before, we intend to bring default options to the mod in the future

I must admit to being confused about this - Neither the HIDE feature or the customisable "thanks" buttons features have existed for a year.

I had a quick look through your posts from a year ago and the only APTL request i can see is you requesting we add a hide feature - as you may have noticed, we did add it =).

With that in mind Is it possible you could link me to the thread from a year ago where you requested the features in this thread? It will help me ensure that threads/requests were not being overlooked.

If you can't I would request that you perhaps consider your words before typing. It is insulting to us when a customer lies like this to attempt to make us look bad. While we appreciate your custom, along with everyone elses, spending $50 does not give you the right to lie to attempt to make us look bad, or demean our coders with sarcastic comments.

Please bear in mind in future that you pay for the product, not the right to insult the team members. Normally I would not feel the need to point this out, but you have done it several times now and it is rather unacceptable.

if im active in this forum is because i like the mods you release and i want to contribute and make a better product

im looking for a roadmap for every product to see what is being developed, but i cant see it.

it sounds like a vbulletin organization phrase, you are not being secure and also customers are not secure if they are going to see an improvement of this type

We've repatedly stated this mod is not a dedicated HIDE hack, so your argument of security isn't applicable here, sorry

If it is integral to the business model of your site that content is hidden, I suggest using one of the existing mods that only allow "Thanks" and spend their entire time and resources ensuring the hidden content is under lock and key

We will continue to make improvements, but we sadly cannot make the HIDE portion a top priority.

I do not believe the source code will ever be hidden though, as it is always in there as the html page is generated for viewing. So if users would rather spend the time to scroll through the source code rather that click a icon, sadly their is nothing to be done.

Ok I have a question please bear with me I am kinda new at this. First of all This works GREAT I run vb 4.1.4 and had no problems installing it or getting it to work. Question is this and if I am posting in the wrong section please forgive me. Since the [ hide ] content requiring thanks [ / hide ] can be used is there a way to add the hide button to the editor toolbar? so we can select it like we do code or others... again sorry if this is in wrong place.
