Could we expect a feature update any time soon ? I honestly don't look at the rebuild as a feature but a necessary utility to maintain integrity and confidence by end users. The rebuild of the native vb rep is very dangerous and is a pitfall that should be addressed by any add on that interrogates its use.
I can't really think of any additional features that would make it better. I am using several buttons as pictured in my sig. and they are very well received and are used appropriately.

Other than the risk of loss of all that generated rep this is a fantastic Mod and I am very happy with the way it works.

If we ever decide to stop creating updates for a product the customers would be notified =). We have various products made by various coders and as much as we would like to spend all of our time updating products unfortunately the economics of the situation does not allow that - in short we HAVE to make new products.

If I do not give a schedule for a product it means that it is not going to be updated in the immediate future and I don't have a date to give you. Please don't make assumptions about my replies and then blame me for them. My words were

You assumed that meant the work was scheduled to be done in the next X months - At no time did i ever say, or even suggest that. I told you as clearly and plainly as I could that it was not being worked on then and as a result I couldn't give you an idea of when to expect it. I honestly cannot think of a single way I could have been more clear about that. I'm mildly bothered that you are twisting that to somehow be a promise that we broke. That is why it feels like you are attacking us.

I would understand if you contacted us with a question or concern about the update rate on a specific modification. Instead you posted in an unrelated thread attacking us, then claimed we were breaking promises that we never made. That strikes me as the actions of someone trying to cause trouble or offend, not how a customer with legitimate questions or concerns acts.

I go out of my way to discuss schedules in my blog so people are kept up to date on them, and I will answer, honestly, any PMs or questions anyone sends me regarding scheduling or the reasons for scheduling decisions. I go out of my way to do this to be fair to my customers. To be accused of deceiving people or breaking promises is very offensive to me since I go out of my way to be as accommodating and honest as I can.

I have, more than once, posted detailed information on how scheduling is conducted, what business forces shape our update vs new modification decisions, how different coders are responsible for different modifications etc. I do this because I absolutely understand that there are customers who do want to know why decision X or Y was made, and i'm happy to explain why I made those decisions.

For someone to post in an unrelated thread (e.g the vbarcade beta thread) to complain about another modifications release date, and then make claims about us breaking promises before even ASKING anyone those questions bothers me. If you had made a post, or sent a PM, or commented on a blog asking me why modification X hadn't been updated yet I would have happily taken the time to explain the processes involved to you - that's why your posts came across as attacks.

Hopefully that clears it up for you,

Cosmic
Sorry we posted concurrently, I apologize if I have not shown were that post was directly related to the topic, and I have and an ongoing PM on the subject of Credits but it doesn't belong here, you ask me for my reasons to have become frustrated and I only went to the few concerns I have had and refreshed them. I too only want the products to be better, if you haven't noticed I have specifically expressed elation and recommendations about DB products at vb.com and .org .
the last PM I received seems to contradict previous announcements and support answers on credits I will try to keep those contained to the subject.

The current plan is to have Fillip H. spend most (or all) of the last few months of the year working on updates to various products. The exact schedule for that hasn't been worked out yet though, so I can't tell you for sure when (or if) APTL will be covered. While i'd be surprised if it's not please note that is *not* a promise or guarantee that it will be.

That being said could you do me the favour of posting that as a feature suggestion? That ensures it won't be overlooked with APTL is updated - I go through every feature request individually and fit as many as possible into the product updates.

Rebuild Reputation is a feature of the latest version :)

As this thread is quite old, I'll close it :)
