Bug thread rating mod not showing up in forums

Hello,

I just purchased this module yesterday, however I am experiencing an issue displaying it on my forums. It appears as if the module attempts to load by indenting the text to the left but it just shows an empty space where the module should live.

Can we get help on this integration issue please.

Edit: Also, I purchased the activity extension as well, how can I get the black circles under the username as seen here so the user can rotate through the different selections so it doesn't stretch out the left menu block too much?

Dylan who is the dev for this mod is off this week, but I will look into it a bit later today and see if I can figure it out. Please leave the account you supplied in the new instillation request as is and I will see what I can do when I get home from work.

@ Freekoid, are you sure this comes with this activity mod? I was looking around and didn't see it, I did however browse around the products here and notice it looks to be that "Postbit" module.

Ok I have found the cause, you have Threaded / Hybrid Mode Options (showthread) set to yes in your ACP Settings.

So till Dylan has a chance to look at it, you can set Threaded / Hybrid Mode Options (showthread) to no, or just leave it set to yes, and wait till Dylan has a chance to look into it.

Not a problem. On a similar note, you may want to go through your usergroups and set up the permissions for your usergroups to be able to use Thread Ratings once it is solved.

Also, is there a particular way to get that box you have on this site around the thread rater module? Right now it doesn't really have definition to it as in it just blends in. Like the following examples:


For this second picture, we are using your DBtech user status, is there a way to make it lower caps instead of all upper case like on these forums?

You could go to Styles & Templates, Style Manager, then click on stylevars for the style you are working with.

Now look for DragonByteTechMods / dbtech_trating_cell_border, now in there set it up how you want the border to look.

I would start off like this:

Units: px

Width: 1

Style: solid

Color: pick a color from the color pallette

Then take a look at it in the thread then customize it to your liking.

I changed this thread to a bug report instead of a question so it'll stay visible. I verified that it isn't working with the threaded/hybrid and I will check into it and find what I need to fix on that. Sorry about the problems.

@Ozzy, excellent that worked! Though would you happen to know where to find the option to make that line appear under the thread title? Our current theme doesn't have it for some reason.

I cant see the Rating System.

I install it without problems. I can set all settings in admin cp but i dont see it in the Threads. Dont know wy. My vB Version 4.1.8 Suite. I hope you can help me. Thanks.

EDIT: f*** iam so stupid . i dont set the rights for the usergroups. So it works now.
