Bug Live Feed page Images Popping out!

Using vBulletin version 4.2.0 Patch level 3

Feed image width not set... I noticed maybe since the latest update of vBulletin the images are poping out from the sides of the theme/Style

Should I download something that controls the image width or can you add something or update something to fix this???

I think you can install image resizer scripts to help with that, but I don't believe they'll work with JS.

I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it, I'll look into it for a future version though

Can you tell me how to set the images so they appear in the livefeed like yours? My livefeed only displays attachment link.

In the BB Code settings in vBulletin Options, check that everything except HTML is allowed in Non-Forum Areas.

Did not intend to hijack a thread but I have that checked and not displaying the images.





Your Livefeed displays the attachment link as well.

Then Non-Forum Areas don't support showing attachments inline

I am sorry Fillip I am do not understand. CoZmicShReddeR is displaying the images on the Live Feed. It appears he has created forum threads with an image in the post and the image appears in the Live Feed. I have attempted to do the same thing. How is he able to display the images and I am not. I must be missing a setting or something else??

CoZmicShReddeR is not posting the images as attachments inline, he is posting the image from the site that they are from and hotlinking them in the post.

So now if you look at the Live Feed page you will see one of the images posted there. It did not show in my first attempt cause the image was after the max character cut off limit.

I tried reposting your post in my forum but even the hot linked images do not display.


Here is my live feed...


I would be much nicer for all images to display and size to the space available. I asked Fillip about the images in the past but thought there must be a work around since Cozmic was displaying images. I could not tell if they were hotlinked, url uploaded.

Hopefully and update will come and handle the images differently than now.

Now that my original request got completely buried...

I am still not able to set a Lightbox to work with the Live Feed! Can you please add this option to the next update or help me add something to re-size images to keep them in the theme spacing??

The mod can't resize images on the fly unfortunately - the IMG tag BBCode is parsed by a vBulletin function
