I have a suggestion for Dragonbyte-tech! Slider!

I think dragonbyte-tech should make a slider. I've been searching and searching. I can't find a slider that is professional and works well with Vbulletin. I've recently purchased a slider for $60.00 and i am thoroughly disappointed. First, it requires you to put the slider into a widget which looks tacky. Secondly, it uses RSS feeds to populate the photos to slide(which is preferred) but it ended up messing up the RSS feed on my CMS page! anyways, that's my rant and my excuse to send more business to Dragonbyte. I love all the products you have produced, heck i think i own ALL of them. might be missing one or two.

I like the idea, I can think of a lot of uses for it. Off the top of my head i could see it functioning similar to postbit tabs: the slider has several "tabs" which all disply different info, the first one could be latest threads, seccond newest replies, third could be info from a mod etc...

Does that sound something like what you had in mind?

and/or
use RSS feeds to populate with the photos to slide
and placement tabs would be good too.

Cosmic, that's exactly like what i'm talking about! I really think this would be a HUGE addition to the current lineup of products. I also like GoodApples idea. The addition of the ability to use an RSS feed to populate it with photos and a short description and links to 5-10 slides.

What do you think? Would/could this be an addition we could look forward to?

The ability to add anything really... custom HTML, RSS feeds, etc. Just the ability to add in HTML alone would rock as you can fake most anything else with it. Then add in the vB specific stuff and... excellent mod. Just depends on implementation really, needs LOTS of display options.

It's been added to the to-do list. When it gets done is up to the individual coders really and when they want to pick it up.
