Question How to show just the thread title

I was just wondering if there was a way to show just the title of the thread in the slider, rather than any content text. I'd like the message text area to be thinner so more of the image shows, rather than being covered with the text box.

If you don't want any text for any of the content items, you can just set the message length (last option on both the CMS and Forum options pages) to 0. Of course, upon testing this, I noticed that the "..." and "Read More" still show up. :/

As far as making the content area narrower, in the StyleVars, adjust the value of 'dbtech_vbslider_cms_content_width' (CMS) or 'dbtech_vbslider_forum_content_width' (forumhome) to a different value which suits your needs.

Hi, thanks for the tips. However, the content area is still showing as the same size even when adjusted.

That's because the content width is only for right and left, not top. Top extends the entire width, and then the required height to fit the text. I think it'd work pretty well for you if you just set the message length to 0, and maintained the top/center positioning, even with the dots and read more.

Oh I see. However, I've already tried that and it still looks the same, only with a big gap where the message text should be

I'll add something to the next version so that if the message length is 0, it doesn't show the dots or the Read More text.
