Well ya can, but if you can't read the way someone coded something, it is hard to know exactly where to make the changes, it just takes alot of trial and error.

Duh, I just read the release was beta, I thought it was gold, I fail.
I always upload beta to my test site and not the live site.

No trouble at all, I really wish it did not happen, and I don't know why as it worked on my local and live site, but we got er done.

Well going through this will only make the upgrade process for the other people hopefully flawless, sometimes you discover stuff on live sites that you do not discover in a test environment.
