Changing colors via hex?

I was wondering if there was a way to change text color in the sb via hex instead of using the basic colors?

You can add new colours to be selectable via template edits, vb3 has a template under vbshout templates, whereas vb4 has it under editor templates.

On vb4 It's the input_background stylevar and its focus sibling. On vb3 It's probably somewhere in the main css area.

That's correct, the input boxes are identical in order to ensure that the entire site looks the same across all types of content be it posts or shouts.

Hello,

i have the "problem". i want to edit the background-color of the enter-box, when i clicked on it.
Anyone know, how i can change it on vB4? So, the default-Color is grey on my style. but if i click the enter-field, its white. but i dont want a white background-color, when i type my text into the box.

Hope any1 can help.
