Bug Creation of link

For some reason, having installed the latest version of vBQuiz, when activating a new quiz no thread or link is being created.

Did you happen to check the settings in Dragonbyte-Tech: vBQuiz - Notification Options, and make sure they are all set correctly?

As far as I aware, yes. I have been through the settings twice

Is the user's usergroup creating the quiz set to auto approve new quizzes? I did change the notification code so it would only create a thread if the quiz is auto approved or when it is approved otherwise. There might be a problem there, it would help to narrow it down a bit though.

Doubled checked and the Quizzes Auto Approved for admin and other approved groups is to Yes

Do you have the quiz set to hidden until start by any chance? I just checked the code and it works on my dev. When I activate a new quiz it will create a thread for it.But it will not create the thread if you have it set to hidden or it's unapproved.
If it's not hidden and it's approved could I get an admin account so I can try to find the problem? I can't replicate it on my dev system.

Yes, it was set to hidden until start, but I have approved it. The quiz is General Ignorance Quiz http://rwf-forum.co.uk/vBulletin/vbquiz.php?do=quiz&id=48. Shall I pm you the admin details?

Give this a try
Edit it and set it to not hidden
Deactivate and then activate the quiz again
That should create the thread
Then you can go in and edit the quiz and set it to hidden until start

Let me know if that works. If not then I'll use the info you sent me to troubleshoot.
