Member has 2 transactions:

18:06, 22nd Aug 2010 Post Yis Earned 17.1 Credits
09:04, 19th Aug 2010 Post Yis Earned 5.5 Credits

*should actually have 4*

These are ALL and ONLY just Posts Events. (I was getting ridiculous amounts for users who had barely any activity so I went to only Posts and decided to recalculate up).

So the total credit is 17.1+5.5 = 22.6

Yet the member has 13522.589999993

I recalculated a few times, but this won’t go away. Suggestions Darkwaltz4 ? Hopefully you’re available tomorrow so I can bug you about it.

I zeroed out his amount and then recalculated only using [Threads] and he got a negative number even though he’s supposed to have 0

Seems like it works for most members, but some members get weird calculations and no amount of recalculate does anything.

Do you have your currencies integrated with any other addon? They should not be changing without associated transactions otherwise - even if the calculated amounts are incorrect.

Otherwise, sounds like I need to flush our your transactions to run a recount (or you have something misconfigured) and I would have to log into your admin panel to see.

Let me know what you need. We have the currency hooked up to triple triad, and the vbstore but there’s nothing really in either that would cause a huge jump.

It just seems like random members have random amounts.

my contact info is still the same

Well, it is very possible the other addons could have exploits that end up with the same thing but occur outside of vbcredits to make a record of it. Consider someone buying cards and then selling them back in large batches for more than they were bought for :) I will still check your recalculating though

We have never sold cards, and furthermore, the members who have these ridiculous credits didn’t even buy cards.

It could be an outside source, but I can’t find it or any reason for why. It’s random members and the recalculate doesn’t work for these particular members. There’s nothing that would have given them as many points as they have.

I’m hoping you get around to looking soon. I’ve been waiting to put up vbshop, TripleTriad, etc. because of vbcredits :(

Darkwaltz4

Thanks for continuing support and helping me. It looks like it’s not counting anything anymore though. Still working on changes/fixes?

Sorry for the delay this has taken to fix, but I believe your site should be recalculating properly now. The fix has several steps though, so will be included in the official update. You are all patched up though, so give it a shot and let me know if it seems good to you now!

Alright. It calculates threads and posts BY THEMSELVES just fine. It will not calculate them together. (it won’t even start to calculate)

It also won’t calculate several of the other options by themselves or at all:
So far I tested:
Fields
Friends
Latests
Welcome

They all give me the same amounts.

Yes, members should be ending up with 0's which is exactly what should happen :) You get a link at the top of the status message to process pending transactions - upon running that, users should get their official amounts. I did that successfully.

That’s not what is happening.

If I run things separately, then it gives me weird numbers. Still a whole bunch of huge negatives or really low numbers. (minus threads and post)

If I run Threads and Post together (both which work find separately) then it won’t even start recalculating. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Hopefully you can help me with the process to ensure I’m doing this correctly.

Darkwaltz has fixed the issues!

HOORAY FOR DARKWALTZ!!!!

Thank you for being patient with me and helping me through the modification. :)

I had an issue something like this, I tried to clean up and resets all the amounts and eliminate all the neg amounts I had created by the inverse paycheck for no log ins, even though I felt like I had throughly cleared all the transactions and processed all users, a few that logged in after a long period received neg amounts anyhow.

and trying to zero by various methods left me with some strange extended decimal places and negative numbers.

I have been hoping that there would be some updates and stability with the system so that I can confidently start using the Credits in exchange for ads ect... However at this point I have not been able to make multiple currencies work as I expected them to, game room does not want to work with the tokens I created for it and I had to let bookie and game room use there own systems . I think this is adding a lot of server load.
