Question "liked" event doesn't trigger on resources if global is "no" and forums are selected. Is this by design?

If you only allow certain forums to trigger the "liked" event, the event will not trigger in the resource manager nor conversations.

There's no way to enable the "liked" event for resources or conversations if it's limited in certain forums.

That is correct. Resources are not associated with forums in any way, so limiting the Like event to certain forums will disallow it from triggering in other areas.
