Question CMS Most Recent Blogs and Images

CMS slider updated from 3.0.0 beta to Gold
I had Blogs (Most Recent) and blog Category selected but currently it isn't displaying most recent and only displays the default image.

I have Repair Cache for both the slider, cms and browser

Is there anything else I need to check

Have you checked the settings to ensure they haven't reset for some reason?

Yes, I did check the settings and just went over again it seems fine...I have updated your Administrator Permissions if you have time to take a look.

Okay, I think this may be a bug.
Most Recent Blogs and images not displaying.

I've checked it out on your site, and there are no images in your blog entries, so it falls back to the default image.

I'm not sure what it is you're expecting it to pull from the blog entries, can you please clarify?

True, the current blogs being pulled do not have images but it isn't pulling the Most Recent blogs.

Okay, there are three settings:

• Never use images inside the IMG tags
• Only use the first image inside IMG tags if there is no attachment
• Always use the first image inside IMG tags even if there are attachments

Mine was set to Always use the first image inside IMG tags even if there are attachments

I notice that even if the Insert Image is used in the editor it uploads as an Attachment

Therefore, I change it to Only use the first image inside IMG tags if there is no attachment

I'm still wondering why it isn't pulling the Most Recent Blogs?

Can you please demonstrate how it's not pulling the 5 most recent blogs that match your category setting? I'm seeing 5 blog entries that seem relatively new...

5 most recent blogs does that not equal the last 5 published blogs?

Click on the Blogs tab and view the last 3 blog titles will not be displayed in the slider.

Seems like it's not correctly picking up the category limitations. I'll see if I can replicate that locally, if not I'll be back to request details

I put up a hotfix to /dbtech/vbslider/actions/widget.php - let me know if that works for you
