I don't know if it is a bug or not, but with IPB games a certain game may have a v2 and a v32 version

And when you import them, it does not distinguish the version number in the arcade game panel, or in the acp manage games.

I think it should as it does with ipb arcade.

it is not necessary; they are handled identically (aside from a couple extra files the games call themselves)

Ok it does look kinda silly though when they are right next to eachother, and look identical, makes it look like the same game is in there twice.

they are in fact two separate games, so it is not a bug. v3a does not differentiate between the ipa versions either, and for me to do so is not modular. if it bothers you, change the titles or add a tag :)

Ok I just figured since when I import them on my IPB board, they show the version number of the game, figured that could be done here as well.

I guess I will just have to live with it.

well thats because the games are unique to ibp - they can use all kinds of stupid assumptions (including hardcoding folders and POSTing to index.php, uggghhhh -_-)

but im not going to define a field that has no bearing on the running of the game, that none of the other game systems have even sorta. i could use the ipa importer to do the title/tag thing, but it seems obnoxious, for no real reason. not to mention do you really want to broadcast which games are easier to hack scores? if you were worried about what you are converting from an ipa install, theres the "Secure" pseudo-tag during import.

Na bro it's cool, their is no need for the extra work to do it. Most people will not be like me and importing 1000's of games at a time, they will probably be a bit more selective with their choices.
