Hey guys,

#1 - Getting a depreciation error when editing stylevars. I have not had a chance to look at logs or anything and the error flashed to fast to read it but I wanted to mention it to see if anyone else has experienced it. It has not impacted user experience in any way I have seen aside from editing stylevars.

#2 - My main issue is that when cms articles show up in the slider they are showing with the url

content.php/************

when the actual url is

content/*************

Thanks,
Rich

BTW - No Vbseo though it was installed in the past.

Vbulletin using mod rewrite urls

###-Update - I managed to fix the content.php issue with widget.php

This was my main issue so I am happy it is resolved.

Thanks

Since you say you are running 4.2.2, there shouldn't be an issue with it picking up the wrong URL. In the past (pre 4.2), there was a bug in vB's friendly rewrite code which could cause the issue you are describing.

As far as the Stylevar issue, this is the first I have ever seen of this one, so if you can provide more info, it would be greatly appreciated.

The stylevar issue is a bug with vB 4.2.2. Multiple such bugs exist throughout vB 4.2.2, and the vB devs are aware of them :)

I'm running 4.2.2 as well, but having the same problem with slider URL as TS.
URL's on the forum slider are correct, but on CMS they are not. I found out it has something to do with the CMS component URL being different from the forum URL. However, when I change those settings, I loose my links to the css files. Is it possible to change the settings of the CMS-slider URL?

I am having this url issue again. I thought it was fixed actually but maybe now.

We are now using advanced friendly urls, strict, and stripped.. Have been for awhile. Why is the slider still pulling the old urls?

Getting urls like this

PHP:
http://#############.###/content.php/238-content.php/238-*###################*-####

It is just that second content.php that needs to go.

Any ideas?

Try this file, see if it works: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bsd9pvoryngka3b/widget.php

Goes in /dbtech/vbslider/actions :)
