Bug Thanks / Like Statistics not updating

The statistics stopped updating a while ago and I can't figure out what the issue is.
I'm not the main admin and I wasn't the one to install it, but I want to try and fix it since he's been busy lately.

I know what the problem is. Does anyone know what in the Advanced Post Thanks / Like system makes the clicks register in the statistics? Is there any way to place that code in a different one, so that if a custom made like button would count towards the statistics chart total.

Your site is actually listed on our piracy tracker as having an illegal version of vBShout, vBActivity & Awards, Advanced Post Thanks / Like, Random Questions and vBShop - we checked manually and there are indeed unlicensed Pro files for these products on your server.
