Please add the ability to change slider Image span
  • background
  • color/colour
  • font
  • size

I find with a dark span and lighter images creates too much contrast.
It's hard on the eyes after awhile.

I may be confused with what part you are talking about, but I think its already in there...? In the StyleVars, look for the following:

dbtech_vbslider_cms_message_background
...message_font
...message_color
...title_color
...title_font
...link_color
...link_font

There are duplicate ones for the Forum as well.

If that's not what you are talking about, please provide a screenshot and point to the areas in question. Thanks!

well, is good to have them there they are in my opinion
since several other mods from DBT are there to like thread rating etc ..

The problem with adding them to the vb settings area is you only get one setting. For people that use multiple themes with different colors, it wont work, so they need to be configured as stylevars per style. We could add them as a left pane option to configure but it would add queries/calculations which is never good. I know it's a bit of a hassle but the stylevar option is the best choice for things like this.

Oh now I get it. Thanks
I was doing a Search in Templates...way to hard. and a pain to play around with the colours.

This is so easy. Thanks Guys :D

Styles & Templates --> Style Manager --> Style Variable Editor...click GO
DragonByteTechMods --> dbtech_vbslider...

You got it, their is settings in there also for vBNavTabs in the same group. DragonByteTechMods

Would I also be able to alter the size of the image that is displayed in the thread? At the moment they all look a bit blurry and distorted. :(

This may be off topic...but

Would I also be able to alter the size of the image that is displayed in the thread? At the moment they all look a bit blurry and distorted. :(

...if the image is edited/updated (size and quality) yes the vBSlider will pull the the new image.

This will need to be done in the thread/post.

Unless there is something I don't know...;)
