Question slide show instance as a forum block and/or widget

Is there a way to deploy an instance of the slider as a forum block (and widget)?

Yes, just create a PHP block and paste in the instance code just as you would if you were inserting it directly in a template. Code should be listed in the instance settings.

So just add {vb:raw show.vbslider_instance1} inside a forum block and select php? Just did that and it doesn't seem to be showing. Do I need to specify the slider template?

Hmmm... Try an HTML block? I know I've posted something about how to do it before.
