Bug Pm links in shoutbox not linking to inboxes

Hello there

We encountered a problem with pm links in the chatbox not linking to the users inbox, now as ive recieved a pm on here, i thought i would try it and low and behold it doesnt link up to the inbox when i click the link in the chatbox.

Here a screenie of the message i recieve both on here and my own site,

It does indeed work correctly on here.

If I as Ozzy47 click on the one with the red arrow it takes me to the pm in my inbox.

If I as ozzy test click on the one with the blue arrow it takes me to the pm in my inbox.

Now if I as ozzy47 click on the one with the blue arrow, the error message comes up, as I am trying to see ozzy test's inbox.

To elaborate, it works because the SB sends a shoutbox PM from you to the recipient of the PM. The link is correct from the recipient, it's just not possible to hide it from the sender

I'm unable to reproduce that, sorry

I used the "login to user account" mod and checked it out and it works fine for me

ok next question, what could be likely causing it not to work ? i know its a needle in the haystack question, but a starting point would be great

The only thing I can think of is that you accidentally clicked one of the PMs surrounding the link you pointed out.

Nope i have just reactivated the pm notifications, and got a test pm sent, clicked the link in the chatbox and same page as in first post...

so at a loss here, the techy has been over the files and he cant find a problem either, they just wont link up for some reason..

Then I don't know what else to do... I can't replicate it even when using your account =/

you have an account on my forum from previous help regarding shoutbox if you logon i will send u a test pm and can you see if you replicate the problem there ?

Ah crap I remember now, there was some other mod that inserted a new record and screwed up the links...

Check for other mods that run at pmdata_postsave_recipient. One of them is the culprit.

Ok I would make a note of that so you don't run into this issue again, as it can be annoying to you seeing something not working like that.
