I was searching through the support and wasn't able to find an answer to my question, then again it is late so I might of missed it lol. My question is, there is a limit on how many files and how much in Bytes a user can download per day, but where is the setting for how much they can upload and store on the server?

I want to be able to limit how much each person can upload and host on the server and then offer upgrades. This is possible right? Or am I just missing it?

Sorry, I feel quite stupid. I found the settings in the Category options. Just ignore me...I'm pretty tired lol.

Ok, sorry. What I found was the Usergroup permissions. But I still can't find where to limit which usergroup is allowed what space. Say for example I want regular member's to have 50MB of space on the server to upload but I want VIP users to have 500MB. Where would I go to set that up?

There is no global space limit for usergroups implemented at the moment. Could you post this as a suggestion and we can consider adding this in the next version? Thanks!

mhmm, again I am kinda regretting making another purchase. I would of thought that would have been a "must have" feature when allowing a userbase to upload files to your server. IT doesn't quite make much sense to allow unlimited upload space but limit the download amount each day.

The feature list is clearly displayed on the product page. Also, just because the feature is not in right now doesn't mean it won't ever be in the product. Most of the new features in new versions come from feedback from customers like yourself.

Please bear in mind as well that what one person considers essential another doesn't - for instance yours is the first request we have seen for that particular feature, if it was essential then all (or at least more) users would have asked.

Thats not to say it's a feature we won't add by any means, simply pointing out that one persons idea of essential is another persons idea of peripheral.

Well just the thought of 100 of my users each being able to upload say 2 5MB files at a time unlimited times taking up 1GB every time concerns me. Having a sort of storage limit/upload limit to what they can have at anyone time just seems to make sense. But since I am the only one that has said anything about it, it must just be me concerned about it then.

I think this would be a good feature, I have seen this on a similar downloads mod I used quite some time ago, it was nice to be able to set the limit on maximum space.
