Where are the VB 5.x install instructions?

There's a readme.txt file included in the script, did you try following those instructions?

Here's a recap of the important parts of that file:

1. Upload all files from the "upload" folder to your forums directory.

2. CHMOD the following folders to 0777
	/core/packages/dbtechthanks/vbactivity_type

3. In AdminCP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product
in the "OR import the XML file from your server" put

./packages/dbtechthanks/xml/product_dbtechthanks.xml

4. Configure your Usergroup settings by clicking "Manage Buttons" under 
"DBTech - Post Thanks" in your AdminCP navigation menu, then
editing each button and setting your usergroup permissions from there.

I am not seeing the path ./packages/dbtechthanks/xml/product_dbtechthanks.xml

I uploaded all as indicated in step #1
On step 2, I am looking in core/packages
In the XML folder (outside of upload) I see vB3 and vB4 folder. That's it.

I do not see dbtechthanks in packages. Is is possibly I have the wrong version? I downloaded the pro from your website and have v3.17. I can PM you for FTP info if you want.

According to our records, you have purchased the vB3/vB4 version, not the vB5 version. I exchanged your license for the correct version.

In the future, please ensure you're browsing the "vBulletin 5" tab on the front page when purchasing mods or downloading Lite versions
