Bug Beta8+: DBSEO cp asking for password when none was set

I couldn't get into DBSEO cp because it is asking for a password. Downloaded again and installed latest Beta8, still same issue.

If I enter something I get these errors which reference files that do not currently exist:

Invalid Action.
Not Found: /home/xxx/public_html/forum/dbtech/dbseo/actions/admin/do.php
Not Found: /home/xxx/public_html/forum/dbtech/dbseo_pro/actions/admin/do.php

Edit: It appears to have fixed itself, I can access the cp now without a password being requested. Not sure about the errors quoted above though.

I did nothing, but I did add a fix for those invalid action messages as they should not happen.

This issue (needing password when none set) has come up again after clearing browser cache.

Edit: After looking at this closer it's actually asking to set a password, since the button is "save".

Is there a requirement now to have a password?

No, there's no requirement to have a password, I'll remove the password and try clearing my cache.

Update: I'm unable to replicate this issue on your site. I removed the password, and cleared my cache, but I'm still not being asked for a password when I visit the DBSEO CP.

Update 2: I reworked the permissions determination on your forum - can you please try to replicate it again?

It looks good now on my end.

If cache is cleared I no longer get the password box, it comes up with this permissions box - which is good



If I log back into the main vB cp and come back to the DBSEO cp it goes back in without issue.
