I don't know if i am completely blind or not but I cannot seem to find in any of my forums in forum manager an option to port notifications to the shout.

I have it set to post new threads and replies in shout but when i went to configure the categories i could not find any setting for it there.

Also i get internal server error occasionally between the text and the top bar of the shout. It maybe my server though.

Thanks

Lets say that someone doesn't have rights to an area of your forums. Example members don't have rights to Staff section. If a staff member makes a post in the staff section and that area is watched, will it display the link to the members to see? I know if they click it, that they will get an access error, but if they don't have rights, I would like it if they couldn't see the thread title.

Went PRO 5.4.3 PL2 last night, and I can't get thread notifications to appear.
Click the NOTIFICATIONS link in admincp and it's blank. Page loads, but inside the vbulletin message box, there isn't any text, links, checkboxes, whatever.
Deleted all the old vbshout stuff out of the /includes/xml directory.
Click and look in AdminCP>Forums&Moderators>Forum Manager and don't see any options anywhere, and none in any of the forums either when I go to edit them.

What am I missing in how to turn these things on. Other things such as notifications of members reaching X number of posts works and all. But not thread creations or replies

That's the exact issue someone else was facing on vB.org, and they solved it by disabling a sponsor mod; vB.Sponsors

It has a bug in it which makes your forum think its AdminCP is actually the front-end, which caused this issue.

Well check this out. I took your suggestion and started with the 1st product on my list and DISABLED it. AdminCP refreshed. Notifications now work for vbshout.

Just for the heck of it, I RE-Enabled it. AdminCP refreshed, all is good and wonderful still.

So just doing that hard refresh, database update, whatever, it resorted the pieces and put them all back together correctly.

I'm all good now. Thanks.

Side note for future versions, you really need to add a SELECT ALL option on that Notifications page. Be so much easier to turn it all on and uncheck what I don't want. :)
