How do I resolve this issue?

This looks like your skin's custom header is significantly different from the default skin. You need to merge your theme's header with the navtabs template code.

How comfortable are you with editing HTML? You can look at the way the navbar works on the default style, and notice the similarities between it and the dbtech_vbnavtabs_navbar template, then merge any changes from the custom skin's navbar template into that skin's dbtech_vbnavtabs_navbar template.

Gave it a try. The files a vastly different. Attempted my best, but alas I obviously didn't do it correct. The header looks almost as it should. But the footer is still in the header and the forums are off in no-mans-land.

Can I just get the professional install and have you guys fix this? :p

Yeah, we should be able to sort it hopefully. It seems like a complex skin but with enough keyboard grease (that's a thing, right? :p) it should be doable :)
