Several Issues.

I installed the latest version of VBShout Pro, and unfortunately I was met with a lot of bugs.

1.) You had to double click on the tabs in order for it to register.
2.) Lots of lag, even with the 'optimise' option enabled. There was lag waiting for shouts, and just typing a shout in general.
3.) For whatever reason, the chatbox doesn't play nice with this mod:

I honestly have no clue why, but when I installed the mod, the smilies were moved way over to the right in the quick reply editor.
4.) I disabled the mod, and there was still a lot of lag on the forum, which lightened up once I uninstalled the product entirely.

Any ideas at all? I read somewhere that some of the DBTech mods don't play nice with Mac OS, which is what I use. But, the same issues I experienced were also had by several members who use Windows. As for the browsers used, I mainly used Firefox, and also used Safari and Chrome. The Shoutbox seemed to work a little better in Safari and Chrome, but the tab issues and lag were still there.

Any help would be appreciated. =/ I like all the features, but I can't use the shoutbox as is.

Hmm, other than the issue you're having with that mod, it sounds like the others could be due to your server configuration. Do you experience any of the same problems using the shoutbox here on DBTech?

Can i ask you what your server set up is ? (shared, VPS, dedicated etc, and specifications?)

Does this also happen on this site? Nobody else has this problem, as far as I'm aware.

That's odd, all I do is hook into the smilie popup. I'll try installing that and see what's going on.

I don't understand how that could happen, when you disable a mod, its code no longer runs, so it shouldn't be affecting the problem at all.

There hasn't been any confirmed issues with Mac OS as far as I'm aware.
