Request: Easier access to shoutbox commands

This is probably a stupid request and I am missing something obvious, but I can't for the life of me find a list of commands for the shoutbox. I want to request two things:

1- An extra page in the adminCP that just lists the shoutbox commands and what they do.

2- Admin options in the shoutbox, so that if you left-click a shout you can do things like promote it to Announcement status, or whatever you call the static message that sticks to the top or bottom of the shoutbox.


And while I'm requesting things, is it or would it be possible to have some color-identification and separation for different updates? Like the main shoutbox room would have all shouts and notifications of posts and replies, with the colors for posts and replies customized, but if you click the "Shouts" tab it would only show shouts, and if you click the "Posts" tab it would only should threads and replies. If this was possible I would probably turn on many more notifications.

1. There is an arrow beside the "shout to everyone" on the shoutbox. If you click it, all available commands are shown =)

2. Simply double left click on the username of a shout, it will appear in your shout bar. Type /notice in front of it, and it will become the notice at the top of the shoutbox.

I'll let Fillip H. answer your questions on colours/tabs, as it's 6am and the answers aren't coming to me =P

I believe there's settings to make the main shoutbox tab only display shouts, in the Pro version there's user options for this.

Thanks for the answers guys. I still think it could use a little work to make it a little more obvious, and the list of commands would be really useful to have in the admincp. I got the sticky working on my shoutbox, but haven't managed to color a sticky yet. It seems if I change the color of the text in one of my shouts it will change it for all of my shouts, but still won't get the notifications or stickies.

You should be using BBCode in the sticky notice to colour it.
