I have bought dbseo in order to replace vbseo, and dbseo is not active on my live server yet.

If I have a forum called Mobiles and Tablets, VBSEO would make the link:

domain/forum/mobiles-tablets/

However, dbseo makes it:

domain/forum/mobiles-and-tablets/

Can I get dbseo to ignore "and" in the titles of forums? I really don't want to change my forum names, but I also don't want thousands of URLs to start 301 redirecting either.

It ignores words like that in thread titles already just as VBSEO did, so I'm hoping it's possible, or that I've just overlooked a silly setting somewhere.

You can turn on the Legacy Forum URL setting in the General Rewrite Settings.

This setting may cause problems, but if you ran vBSEO with that type of forum URL generation previously, it should be fine :)

It changes nothing other than filtering out stopwords from forum titles. You may cause problems if you have two forums named similarly, like "Things For Dancing" and "Things And Dancing" - both of them would be rewritten things-dancing.

You would correct this by changing the names of your forums to no longer match in this fashion.
