Is there anything that can be done to move comments away from going on to the Avatar?

Would you prefer to change the avatar size if it's over a certain limit so that the columns all line up or fit the text to the avatar size?

If it would be easier i have no issue .. It wouldn't effect the forums Avatar thou would it?

It wont change the avatar, just the size of it on the quiz display.
ACP->Styles & Templates -> Style Manager
Select Edit Templates and double click the template dbtech_vbquiz_quiz_view_comments
Find

<div class="td" style="vertical-align: top; padding: 5px; width: 75px;">

Replace with

<div class="td" style="vertical-align: top; padding: 5px;  width: <vb:if condition="$user[avatarwidth]">{vb:raw  user[avatarwidth]}<vb:else />75</vb:if>px;">
